This is my dad. We had plans to go to India until he actually had to go there for work and few years ago and now dodges the subject (some traveling stress, I assume). Oh, DAD. Speaking of India, I noticed that The Sartorialist had some nice pictures from New Delhi.

Mociun

Mociun, clothes and textiles by Caitlin Mociun. They're amazing. Not only beautiful, but interesting and well-made. I am writing about it because it has always been a pipe dream of mine to design textiles (sigh). I pretty much want to become these leggings.

This is just more of me going through old pictures on the computer. It's fun. My dad is good at saving old things (maybe an East-coast thing?), while my mom tends to throw it all out (a Colorado thing, I am positive). It is an old, old picture from Bente's family archives. I think it is a nice photo to look at, but even more, I like the idea of this picture being taken. I don't know about you, but I haven't seen many picnic pictures from the past fifty years up to par.

She Bangs, my Stepmom

This is a shot of Bente, my stepmom, from her heyday. I love to hear her tell stories about these times, "Oh when we went to the beach in Blokhus, did we have our own sand dune? Oh! And did we get mad when there were other peoples on our dune? Oh! and when the disco burned down, did I cry? Oh!"

At the port

One fantastic thing about the Chinese is that they generally don't feel exploited or invaded by photographs. I wonder, should I be taking advantage of that? Because I really like this photograph, yes.
